One Review For Invicta Sun Club

  • Mike P Writes:

Invicta is a small woodland club between Deal and Dover. We have camped there a few times as visitors. Facilities are a bit limited with an unheated outdoor pool, a clubhouse, miniten courts and washrooms in a small wooded area. Many members have their own plots with caravans or chalets. The clubhouse has a very nice open fire (where you can sit round naked) and they have a nice barbecue area outside. Inside there is use of a kitchen and plenty of board games and things to keep you occupied. They are a friendly bunch there, but we did find it a struggle to make contact with them. Messages through their website were not answered (ever) but we know someone who is a member, so made contact through them. There is running water on site but no electricity, no WiFi, and no telephone line to the site. A day trip to Dover Castle and the ferry to France made great excursions. We would certainly go back there again. Nice people, nice place although very basic facilities, the members are truly proud of their club.
