St. Osyth Beach – Clacton-on-Sea – Essex
St. Osyth is officially designated as a naturist beach on the estuary of the River Colne. Visitors should be warned that the access to the beach can become cut off during high tide. This area is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). A road to the beach used to exist but it is no longer accessible by car.
Location
Beach Road, St Osyth CO16 8TB where there is car parking. Go over the sea wall and head West (turn right). Walk for about a mile to reach the naturist section.
Description
The beach is dry sand with grass and fairly remote. The only facilities nearby are at Beach Road.
